Does it mean for me to collect information on “US hurricanes and Typhoons/Cyclones”that have hit Asia

Or does it mean “US hurricanes” and “Typhoons/Cyclones that have hit Asia”

Please help I don’t get it

In my opinion I think it wants you to collect information on US hurricanes, and also collect information on Typhoons/cyclones that hit Asia. Since I don't think hurricanes happen in Asia.
