Because there are no refrigerators in a space shuttle. There is only food in nonperishable form. Is nonperishable used as an adjective in this sentence?

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Yes it is.

Put something else to check it out. All the vegetables are stored in green form. Green is definitely an adjective in this sentence, is it not? Doesn't it look the same as nonperishable? It's harder to see, but you could have used powdered form.

Powdered looks like a verb. That's why I didn't use it.
