Well after The Revolutionary War , France spent most of it's money to Aid The Usa against the Brits after the war , it lead the french in very heavy debt not as much britain but worse cause of past issues cause of this it lead to France having there own Revolutionary war, and over throwing the monarch,King Louis XVI While Britain on the over hand wasn't that much affected they went to to colonies most of africa,india the west indies and the Caribbeans
