Although at first glance, this was a battle of small intensity, it proves that British army didn't had means or even will to help the Loyalist, especially in Georgia. After the battle of Saratoga, and French aid, Patriots turn the tide. That is why as a Loyalist not only that I would think twice after Battle of Kettle Creek, but I would support general Washington's army.
