Explanation:

Since the largest square root in 18 is 9 we can separate it out as shown:

√18 = √9√2

We can then solve this out to 3√2

Since we have a negative two on the outside, we would multiply it by 3 ( from the 3√2).

Work:

-2√18

-2√9√2

-2(3)√2

-6√2
