Describe how matter exists in three common states - solids, liquids and gases. Describe each by a

set of distinguishing properties.

Matter is anything that takes up space and has mass. Liquid can evaporate but it doesn’t disappear. It’s particals are still there it has just turned into a gas, a solid is pretty self explanatory. It visibly takes up space and has mass
