One way to cut back on the money they spend is, by finding deals while grocery shopping; however, the Scott family needs help determining which store has the better deal. At Grocery Mart, strawberries cost $2.89 for 2lbs, and at Baldwin Hills Market strawberries are $3.99 for 3 lbs. What is the price per pound for strawberries at each grocery store? If necessary, round at the hundredth place value.

Grocery Mart:
Baldwin Hills:
If the Scott family wanted to save money, where should they go to buy strawberries? Why?(use words and numbers) Please explain your answer and do this step by step.
