Since the Square has four equal sides this is an easy question. First you want to divide 36 by 4 since there’s four sides of a square and the total perimeter (which is all the sides added up)

36÷4=9

Now to find area you measure the width and length and then multiply width an length together since there’s a square both of those should be 9.

9x9= 81

The area of the square is 81 cm

Hope that helps and if you could mark me brainless that would be awesome
