Could an animal adapted to live in an ecosystem at the bottom of the Rocky Mountains survive in an ecosystem at the top of the Rocky Mountains? Explain your answer.​

Answer:

No, the environment would be completely different. At the bottom of the mountains there would be certain things that at the top you would not find and vice versa. The oxygen levels would also be different. The most important point is that an animal doesn't adapt easily. For example we humans, we live on the ground if we decided to live on Mt. Everest the lifestyle would be so hard to adapt to because we aren't used to it, like oxygen levels, food sources, temperature, etc. Same thing with this animal.
