What do I do in pre writing?

Ok so I am having to write a narrative about a significant experience that has shaped my identity. It says that I am doing the Pre-Writing and it also shows that I’m in the outline section. I don’t know what I should be putting here. Does anyone know?

You don’t write your paper there, you just need to kind of organize your thoughts. Hope this helps!
