7. The map shows the location between town A and town B. On the map, 1 inch represents 20 miles. The actual distance between town A and town B is 70 miles. How far apart, in inches, are town A and town B on the map?

Should be 3.5 inches. Because if one inch is 20 miles it would be 20 x 3 to get 60 the half of 20 is 10 so 3.5 inches.
