Explanation:

1.2% is basically 0.012. 12% is 0.12 and then 1.02 and 1.2. what i'm trying to get at here is when you are working with percents, 100% is 1. so anything below that is going to be a decimal, for an example, 34% would be 0.34, and 68% would be 0.68. Also 0.18% would be 0.0018. Once you know how to convert percentages to decimals, doing those kind of questions is pretty easy.
