Fred has a job that pays him $2,000 a month after taxes. His rent is $500, Car insurance is $100 and his utilities are $200 per month. Fred spends 10% of his income on groceries, 5% on gasoline, 20% on other expenses (telephone, TV, clothing, etc.), and the remainder he either saves or uses to hang out with friends. Using the monthly budget worksheet determine what the remainder is each month and explain what Fred should do with the money.
