Responsible. It even says so from the beginning of the sentence. The reason this is the most important skill for babysitters is because they have been entrusted to care for a child. They must be able to take into account the child’s needs and must be able to be relied on to complete them.

to me i think the most valuable skill is being able to handle kids. Kids aren't easy to watch over. I think another valuable skill is trust, your watching over someones kid I mean trust is a big thing
