s = \sqrt{(\Sigma^n_i_=_1(x_i-x)^2)/(n-1) }

Turn the equation into a simpler form


s = \sqrt{(SS)/(n-1) }


s = \sqrt{(64)/(5-1) }


s = \sqrt{(64)/(4) }


s = √(16)

That said, we know the square root of 16 is 4, so 4 would be your answer.


s = 4
