not going to put all the details in but I will put in the process i used. So first you had to find the equation of the first line using the point-slope formula. Then you find the equation of the line perpendicular to that using the slope (-1/2 since it's perpendicular). Then you find the intersection of the two lines and write that point down. then use the distance formula to find the distance between the two points.
