When I was watching our bird feeder at school, I noticed that Monday a chickadee took 1 sunflower seed from our bird feeder. On Tuesday, he took 4 seeds. On Wednesday, he took 7 seeds. The day after, he took 10 seeds.

If this pattern continues, how many sunflower seeds would the chickadee eat on the 10th day?

PLEASE HELP!!!

Answer:

28

I think the pattern is odd then even, but it can't be the number right after that number. Simply put, just add three numbers.

1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34, 37, 40... and so on.

I hope this helps
