Why did pioneers take apart their farm equipment when moving out West?

1. They liked how it looked pulled apart.
2. It prevented children from hurting themselves.
3. It took up too much space in the wagon.
4. They wanted to do like the other pioneers.

The answer is 3 because otherwise if they didn’t take apart the equipment they wouldn’t have any room for other stuff they needed as well.
