Depends on what your saying, words can effect a person mentally. I'm not really smart but say we have a guy named Dave and he's auguring with Gabe, Dave doesn't know that what he said about the topic really offended Gabe personally, for all he knows Gabe can be a murder. Gabe has a knife in his pocket he swings it at Dave. Now this is an armed conflict.
