Some consumers, like lions, do not eat plants or any other producers. They only eat other animals.

How do lions obtain the carbon they need?

Answer: by eating meat from animals...?

Explanation: Well lions do actually eat meat so whenever they eat meat I'm guessing they get whatever they need. I'm still learning so sorry if I am wrong.
