Answer: To find the mean of a data set, add all the numbers together, then divide the answer by how many numbers there were

Explanation:

Example: 1,5,2,6,9,4

First add them all so 1 + 5 + 2 + 6 + 9 + 4 = 27

Then divide by how many numbers there were so 27/6=4.5

4.5 is the mean of the data set
