If it's just realistic fiction story (like about a normal person in a normal world) then I'd do a common name like Jack or Claire.

If it's a science fiction or fantasy story, then I would do something that sounds unique and nature related, like Aurora or Artemis.

It really depends on the genre, but those are some suggestions. :)
