Function f is defined by
f(x) = - 2 x 2 + 6 x - 3
find f(- 2).

Answer: -23

Substitute x by -2 in the formula of the function and calculate f(-2) as follows

f(-2) = - 2 (-2) 2 + 6 (-2) - 3

f(-2) = -23
