What is 143x+4=12 please help

x= 8/143

First you need to move the constant to the right of the equals sign. = 143x=12-4

Second you need to calculate it when the constant is on the right side. = 143x=8

lastly you need to divide both sides. (both sides divided by what ever number doesn’t have a variable next to it so that would be the right side on this question)

Isolate the variable by dividing each side by factors that don’t contain variables.
