According to Douglass how to laws in the south prove the slaves are human beings

Answer:

They were humans, not dogs. Yes some were treated bad, but they had food, clothes, and a place to stay. Others were beaten and separated from their families, to me this was true slavery. But the ones that did have what they needed, in my opinion that wasn't slavery.
