This equation is written in slope-intercept form but its out of order.

Slope intercept form: y = mx + b

Reorder

y = 4 - 5x

y = -5x + 4

As you can see -5 is the same place as m which means the slope.

Therefore, the slope is -5.

Best of Luck!
