Is the square root of 3,600 rational or irrational? Explain.

If the number given is an integer, it is rational.

If the number given is fraction, it is rational.

If the number given is decimal, as long as it is terminating or repetitive decimal, it is rational. (Because then you can write it as a fraction which leads to the second point)

It is an integer, which fits the first point

So, it is rational
