Given :

Number of hours studied daily ,
T=5(2)/(3) .

Time given for science and mathematics is ,
t=2(4)/(2) .

To Find :

How much time does she devote for other subjects .

Solution :

Let , time devote for other student is x .

So , Time left for other subject = Total time - Time taken by science and mathematics .

$x=T-t\\\\x=5(2)/(3)-2(4)/(2)\\\\x=((5* 3)+2)/(3)- ((2* 2 )+4)/(2)\\\\x=(17)/(3)-4\\\\x=(17-(4* 3))/(3)\\\\x=(5)/(3)=1(2)/(3)$

Therefore , time devote for other subject is
1(2)/(3) hours .
