What is the slope the line that passes through the points:
(-6, 14), (2, -18)

Here's how to find the slope given any two points.

Subtract the y values.

14-(-18+-14+18=32

Subtract the x values.

-6-2=-8

And divide those.

32/-8=-4

The slope is -4.
