Explanation:
The numbers are 6 and 2x, then:
1/6 + 1/(2x) = 7/24
1/3 + 1/x = 7/12
(x+3)/(3x) = 7/12
12(x+3) = 7*3x
12x + 36 = 21x
21x - 12x = 36
9x = 36
x = 4
The other number is 2*4 =
