Children receive half of their genes from each parent. Does this mean that all children born to a couple will have half their mother’s and half their father’s features? Explain your answer, using an example to support it. Topic: Genotypes and Phenotypes

Yes! They get 50% of their genes from their mother & 50% from their father. However, if we’re talking about physical traits then no. Your mother MIGHT have more dominant genes whereas your father MIGHT have more recessive genes. Hope this helps!
