Explain how World Wars relate to the concept of Federalism

During war, people are going to want power. Some Governments want to keep away from war since they do not want to participate in loosing fellow comrades and supplies. United States wanted to avoid WW1 and WW2 since it was not their problem, but in WW1 they had to help out their allies. In WW2, they were bombed by Pearl Harbor.
