American society has a flaw in generating unity among its citizens. This is clearly seen in issues such as the political division between Democrats and Republicans, racism towards African Americans and Latinos, or the lack of acceptance of certain cultural manifestations.

These examples show that, although America is a nation that accepts differences among its inhabitants and protects diversity, its society has some problems inherent in these differences that compromise social stability and generate clashes of cultures.

A clear example of this situation is the Black Lives Matter movement, generated as a result of George Floyd's death at the hands of the police. This movement has put on the table the situation of inequality between African Americans and whites in the United States, and it is a sign that social unity and complete equality have not yet been achieved in America.
