Given :

An equation ,
a=mg-(kv^2)/(m) .

To Find :

The value of v in above equation if a = 2.8, m = 12, g = 9.8, k
v=\sqrt{(12(12* 9.8-2.8))/((8)/(3))}\\\\v= \$22.73 = 8/3 .

Solution :

Simplifying the given statement in terms of v = ..... .

(kv^2)/(m)=mg-a\\\\v^2=(m(mg-a))/(k)\\\\v=\sqrt{(m(mg-a))/(k)} ...... 1 )

Putting all given values in above equation , we get :

v=\sqrt{(12(12* 9.8-2.8))/((8)/(3))}\\\\v= 22.73

Therefore , the value of v is 22.73 .

Hence , this is the required solution .
