If the hawk population decreases,how will it affect the cricket population?​

Because of the decrease in hawks, that means that the crickets may over populate due to the fact that the hawks aren’t able to keep their population in balance.

Since crickets are prey to hawks, if the population of the hawks starts to decrease then we will see an increase in cricket population since they will be being eaten less.
