The spread of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such HIV/AIDS, is a global challenge. Some areas of the world are experiencing higher rates of STIs than others. What might be one of the reasons for these increases?

religion. why? many christians do not engage in homosexual activity and/or are waiting til marriage and practicing safe sex. The lgbtq movement has made many come out and sti and std rates have gone up significantly. ( this is not a shot at any religion or any community of people, i am simply answering the question from a different perspective)
