The original price of a pair of shoes is $36.00. Edward buys the shoes for 13% off its original price. Two weeks later Chad buys the same shoes for 29% off its original price. How much more money did Edward spend than Chad on the shoes?

Answer:

Edward spent $5.76 more than Chad

Explanation:

13% of $36 is $4.68,

and

29% of $36 is $10.44

so, you'd calculate:

10.44 - 4.68

which comes out to be 5.76

:) hope this helps <3
