Because he has tried many other forms and become a master on the subject therefore from a business standpoint he could corner the production. But from a moral standpoint he has overcome a great challenge that will influence generations to come. It is a good way to describe science because it shows that to overcome a great challenge requires great patientice and time and trial and error.
