Answer:

A. To find height of collision let's find

Speed of collision first

Using

Vf= √2g(h-g)

But for Harvey's ball we have

V²-2gy= 0

y=( v²/2g) so this is height of collision

B.

To find relative speed of the ball

Using V at y to find Vsr

Vs= √2g(h-v²/2g)

= √2gh- v²
