How do I simplify an expression with more than one variable? Sorry about my last question, I didn't realize how blurry it was

1. remove parantheses by multiplying factors

2. use exponent rules to remove parentheses in terms with exponents

3.combine like terms by solving coefficients

4.combine the coefficients
