Please help ASAP!!! “The king appointed a festival which was to last 3 days & to which all the beautiful young girls in the country were invited.” What’s a significance for this quote???

I'm pretty sure the significance is that it tells you that something really good happened which caused a festival to happen. You also learn that the festival is going to be 3 days long, and since it mentions beautiful girls, they may play a part in the story
