Answer: 300%

Explanation:

percent of increase: new/old×100%-100%

Since it is percent of increase, you need to subtract the original percent (100%) from the current percent.

------------------

new (current)=2000

old (original)=500

new/old×100%-100%

=2000/500×100%-100%

=4×100%-100%

=400%-100%
