-3:


-3(x+n)=x\\-3x+-3n=x

Now we're gonna solve for
x:


-3x-3n=x\\-4x=3n\\x=-(3n)/(4)

To solve for
n:


-3x-3n=x\\-3n=4x\\n=-(4x)/(3)
