The diagram shows a wire between the poles of a magnet. The wire is perpendicular to the page. The wire is moved and a current is induced upwards, out of the paper. The direction is option B right to left

The direction of the induced current is determined by Len's law, which states that the direction of the induced current is such that it opposes the change in magnetic flux that produced it.

So, one can say that the magnetic flux is increasing through the loop of wire as it is moved to the right.

Therefore, the induced current will flow in a direction such that it opposes this increase in magnetic flux. This means that the current will flow upwards, out of the paper.
