Evolution refers to the change in the characteristics of an organism with the passage of time. in the beginning there is only one single plant and animal specie but with passage of million of years changes occurs in the structure and genotype of the organism and as a result, a new specie was formed. So after millions of years, thousands of new species formed and there is a need for their classification in order to make their study easier. So we can say that evolution broaden the scope of classification.
