What is the diffrence between expression and an equation? I also need an example

Simple answer: Expressions do not have equal signs, equations do.

Detailed answer: An expression does not equal to any value. An equation on the other hand has two expressions that are equivalent.

For example,

5+5
would be considered an expression

5+5 = 6+4
would be considered an equation, because it contains an equal symbol.
