Road transport is most common in Nepal due to its terrain. If you take a look at a map, Nepal has mountainous terrain. Other travel methods are either expensive or restricted.
1)Travel via sea isn't possible due to to its borders. (landlocked nation)
2) Air travel is also expensive as Nepal is economically disadvantaged due to the lack of natural resources it can extract.
