(f - g)(x) = f(x) - g(x)

(f - g)(x) = ( f(x) ) - ( g(x) )

(f - g)(x) = (4x^2 - 6) - ( x^2 - 4x - 8)

(f - g)(x) = 4x^2 - 6 - x^2 + 4x + 8

(f - g)(x) = (4x^2-x^2) + 4x + (-6+8)

(f - g)(x) = 3x^2 + 4x + 2
