For what types of information would you use the Quick Analysis tool? Why would you choose to use the Quick Analysis tool and what other options would there be to calculate your data besides using this method? Is one method better than the other, or does it depend on what you are working with? Explain.

Answer:

  1. The Quick Analysis Tool (QAT) is a tool found in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet. It is very useful when dealing with an array of data with multiple cell qualities.
  2. The QAT gives one the ability to instantly produce various types of charts, including line and column charts, or add mini graphical representation of the data. Other alternative methods of achieving the above would be to go through the Data Tab on the Excel Ribbon and select the specific actions which one would like to effect.
  3. No method is better than the other. It all depends on the nature of work one is working on as well as one's dexterity or proficiency. With a simple array of data, one might find the QAT, which comes suggested as soon as the table with the data is highlighted, easy to use.

Cheers!
