Please help! Can someone help me figure out what type of figurative language this text includes? "I remember the first time I became capable of observing outward objects with any kind of pleasure, I perceived that the fallen leaves had disappeared and that the young buds were shooting forth from the trees that shaded my window." Thanks in advance...

I would say that it is personification

Answer:

Personification [and imagery*].

Step-by-step explanation:

Personification - animation of non-living or non-moving objects (either giving them human like characteristics or actions)

Imagery* - uses figurative language to create a descriptive and vivid scene.

*some teachers do not accept imagery as a type of figurative language so be careful.
